What group activities and events can we expect to be organised?

You can expect heavily discounted pool parties, boat trips, waterpark days, beach water sports, and more. Included for FREE: Bike rides, Boujee brunch, Horse riding (not in July or August), Mansion Nightclub entry, and BBQs.

Where do I fly to?

You book your flight to Palma de Mallorca Airport (PMI) which is the only airport on Mallorca island. We recommend you use SkyScanner to find the cheapest flight for you. Great tip: try alternative airports that are close to you for the best deal, as it can be cheaper sometimes from alternative cities that you can travel to via train when booking your ticket in advance.

Do I need travel insurance?

Yes, we recommend you get travel insurance to cover you in the unfortunate event of any medical incident, or in case any of your property is lost or stolen during your stay in Spain. You can find the best policy for you on a comparison website such as www.comparethemarket.com

Where can I find the activity schedule?

You will be given a schedule of activities on arrival. Most of our group activities will be in the first week however we do organise things to do throughout your 28 day stay. As some activities (such as horse riding) can only take small groups at a time, we will give multiple days of opportunities to take part so everyone can get involved.

Where do I buy a SIM card?

There are various phone shops on the strip where you need to bring your passport to register for a Spanish SIM card, we recommend the Lebara network – you can buy data only packages for as little as €10 so you can stay connected to your family and friends wherever you are.

How do I get to the Workers Accommodation from the airport?

We organise and book your transfer from the airport to your accommodation. A few weeks before arrival, we will request your flight information (Departure airport, Flight number, and Date/Time).  The shuttle buses run 24/7 so it does not matter what time your flight lands, a transfer will be scheduled for you. Once we have received everyones data, we will be booking your airport transfers, which will be a shared shuttle bus. You will be given instructions of which desk to go to at Palma de Mallorca Airport arrivals, where you will then be allocated a shuttle bus to take you to Magaluf. Due to the fact that shuttle bus companies only go to Hotels and not residential buildings (where you will be staying is a residential workers-only apartment block) we direct the bus to drop you off at the hotel on the opposite side of the road: ‘Hotel Spa Flamboyan – Caribe’. You will be met on arrival by a Rep who will greet you and move you into your apartment. You will be provided with contact numbers in the case that you would like to speak to a representative on the way.

When can I check in?

While our package does not officially begin until the 1st of each month….
Due to cheaper flights, we allow recruits to arrive and check in from MIDDAY the day before!
EARLIEST
MONTH: CHECK IN:
APRIL 31st MARCH
MAY 30th APRIL
JUNE 31st MAY
JULY 30th JUNE
AUG 31st JULY
SEP 31st AUG

I want to stay for longer than 28 days! (Or even the whole season!) How does it work?

As we have limited availability in our Workers Accommodation, you have to leave on the 29th of the month, (regardless of what day you arrived) for the apartments to be cleaned. If you wish to stay in our accommodation for longer, we recommend you book another package. Please be aware we now have very limited availability for June and July, so if you wish to stay for these months, you must book now! Alternatively, some workers will be offered accommodation options from their employers, or on arrival, we can provide you with the numbers for local landlords for workers apartments. This will be handled in resort only.

Am I able to leave in the middle of my package, and come back again?

Yes, as long as we are holding your €200 security deposit, we will reserve your bed, and you are welcome to leave mid-month if you need to go home for a few days. Check out will still be Midday the 29th of the month of your booked package.

Do I have to work straight away?

You don’t actually have to work at all! It’s up to you how you spend your Working Holiday Package. Some recruits do not work, and just enjoy the summer sun and experience of making new friends abroad.

Where can we get food?

We recommend the lovely cafe right outside to the entrance of our Nova Apartment called ‘Everest’, which conveniently provides Full English Breakfasts, toasties / baguettes / wraps, main meals, and healthy options too – and even better, here your receive an Exclusive Spring Break Workers discount of 15% OFF! Alternatively, the best way to save money, is to cook in your kitchen within the apartment. You have an electric hob and microwave. There is an Aldi Supermarket less than 10 minutes walk away, with all the essentials and plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables for a good price.

Do I get to choose who I share with?

Yes! About a month before arrival we will be asking in the Group Chat for everyones share requests. For anyone without a request, you will be randomly allocated, and we try our best to make every apartment same gender (only girls, or only boys)

Is there air conditioning?

All of our apartments have air conditioning. This is an upgradeable option, which will be offered about a month before your arrival as we begin the room plans. An Air Conditioned apartment is upgraded for €10 per day for the month. Standard apartments are furnished without a fan, which can be purchased locally at a recommended outlet.

Do I have to pay for anything else in the apartment?

All bills are included for water and electricity, however you are required to pay a Security Deposit of 200€ on arrival, (cash accepted only). This is returned to you when you leave, when 48 hours notice is given, so an inspection can be taken place in your apartment. If there is no damages or items missing, then your full deposit will be returned to you in cash.

Is there WIFI?

Yes, the apartments have WIFI, but as it covers so many apartments it does not reach all rooms. We recommend buying a local Spanish Sim Card for just 15€ per month you can have unlimited data.

Can I post items to my apartment?

We do not recommend this. Instead, use the UPS Access Point service to collect recorded post from safely.

When do I get my Wristband & tshirt?

Due to Brexit and furthermore issues with importation tax and delivery services, we have stopped posting out our Welcome Packs, you will receive your Wristband and Spring Break Workers T-shirt on arrival so we can guarantee everyone receives them.

I’m British, can I stay in Spain for longer than 90 days?

Due to Brexit, the law changed so the British are currently only allowed to stay in Europe for up to 90 days. However the Spanish Government has filed a request to Brussels to withdraw from this agreement within the EU. We are currently awaiting a response, and will update our recruits as soon as we hear an update.
